Science Interactions Definition?

I need to write a report in science and I have to know what a Heat Conduction interaction is and give 5 examples of that. I also need to know what an Infrared interaction is and give 5 examples. I'm not sure what they are or how to define them, and Google didn't really help me. I would appreciate even just 1 example of each or tell me how they are defined so that I can create them.
