Obama's experience ??????????

I hear people talk a great deal about Obama's lack of experience . Mr.Bush had 1120 days of legislative experience, when he became our President.( Texas' legislature meets 140 days a year) Obama had 8 years in the Illinois legislature and has been a U.S Senator for 3 years. He and Bush, both had 8 years in their respective state houses. Obama by virtue of his 3 years in the U.S Senate will actually bring more experience to the job. Is this an oversight by people who call him inexperienced ? (A little research does wonders)
