What should i do? Help?

Just before i came to uni a guy mate that i have liked for ages told his best friend (a friend of mine too) that he liked me but wasn't sure how i felt. I have liked him for years and never thought he would go out with me so i never showed how i felt. He told his best mate the day after we all went for a meal. It was a gr8 night and we flirted all night. He also asked me for drinks and sent me a nice text that night. But i really regret not saying anything, i had so many opportunities to show how i felt but i didn't want to get hurt. Now he has a girlfriend as he is the type of guy who wants to have a girlfriend all the time he has also had a few that dont last long. Also looking back im sure that he has liked me for ages but i never twigged that he might actually like me. I have seen him with his girlfriend and he acted really strange. He came up to me and gave me a huge hug right in front of her. So now i am not sure whether he still likes me or not and if i should move on?
