Is there any way to get paint off of clothes?

I have this decorator color acrylic paint, and it's white and spilled on a pair of black pants. Is there any way I could get this off or at least fade it so it's not very noticeable? When it spilled, I tried to dab it up with a bit of water, but that just made it smear...so....any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
