Why aren't schools getting adequate funding anymore?
Yet there's pork barrel spending on the military. Yes, I realize this country needs a defense. It needs a good offense, too. That offense is our education and health care system. The inner city projects are the red zones. Right now we don't have a very good red zone offense. That's the quintessential reason why I believe we're losing the game now. What will it take to beef up our offense to perform in the clutch without causing too many turnovers? Why does the government not care about our schools? Is it because they want these kids to be uneducated so they'll join the military as their only way out of the ghetto? Do they not care if they end up behind bars from selling crack cocaine to make ends meet? What good is our defense if our offense can't read the blitz or the p rush. All the countries that ranked as the happiest countries in the world all have something in common (other than being predominately in Northern Europe.) Every one of those countries has a strong offense. The best defense is a stellar offense.
